        Where did you end up then?
        If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

            Was at the M&S Bank Arena on the docks. First time there - it’s ****ing huge. 11k or something there last night. I think most of them poured their beer on me when the goals went in! Madness!
            It's easy to distract fat people. It's a piece of cake.

                      Ha ha! No they were ok with that, it was when I told them City deserved the title things went tits up! The arena was great by the way. Really good facility, handled the crowd very well and the atmosphere was electric (as it would be with 11k reds). Even the pints were nice and cold.

                      PS - I’m pretty sure everyone got covered in beer when the goals went in!

                                I've just got home. Supposed to go home more or less straight after the parade, but got to Lime Street and a huge throng, a huge mass of people trying just to get into the station caused total gridlock. Trains were leaving empty cos the mass of people just wasn't moving. So I sat in the Crown just by Lime Street getting pissed and making new friends in the amazing atmosphere, hoping the crowds would die down. My phone had died but a mate and his lad - who's in my son's class - came in with the same problem so we just got arseholed. He rang his missus to come and pick us up.

                                We had our first pint at 11.30am yesterday and I got home at 5am, drank some more, went to bed at 7am, and had two hours sleep. Just running on pure adrenaline today.

                                Was a great day today. I was down at Albert Dock, by Liverpool One, and it was a wonderful atmosphere. I love this club.
