What has impressed me in the little bit I've seen of him is the inventiveness of his passing. Little chipped passes and lobs that you rarely see. Really creative player. Allied to a high work ethic. I have high hopes for this lad.

You've just put the kiss of death on him you *******.

He's going the same route as Le Tallec now

Thought it was a bit odd how he seemed to celebrate the win post match completely away from all the other players. He had plenty of opportunities to do their victory lap with them and he chose opposite stands to clap to.

From what I could see he was the last one still out there celebrating with all the fans. Looked absolutely delighted. Not sure there was anything wrong with that.

His relationship with Curtis Jones is interesting! They definitely have a rivalry going. Hope it spurs them both on.

People express joy and grief in different ways, maybe he just wanted to revel in the experience in his own space?

He certainly looked to be appreciative of all the support and went to great lengths to thank the fans, who gave him a massive send off when he was subbed. He just seemed very much separate to the rest of the lads.

                    .
They had that big fallout playing for the u-23s a while back, but apparently they are quite good mates (although that could be camera talk).
If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

He is 16 though. He cant know anything about anything. Think of yourself at 16 and then put yourself in his place

                      It's astonishing.

He was 12 when Klopp arrived. He was 6 when we had Hodgson as a manager.

I agree with whoever posted about his passing. The vision to pick out Williams for the chance he should have scored was ridiculous. Nobody is seeing that pass. Everytime I have seen him play he has made at least one staggering pass.

If we can develop him and keep him grounded he is going to be an unreal player.

Agree with all that. He definitely needs grounding but he's only 16 FFS. Crazy to have that level of ability.

                          Big fallout?

Jones told Elliott to shut his mouth and then 10 mins later they were hugging after Elliott crossed to him for another goal

                            Okay, 'big fallout'.

As a father of kids in that age range I can confirm that whilst they might not know very much at that age they do actually think that they know EVERYTHING and I know NOTHING.

                                But what do I know!
