He needs to do this regularly in the premier league for me to get excited.

It’s obvious he’s got talent, but I still think he needs at least another season and that level and show consistently what he’s made of before returning to us. He’s gonna be 18 this year though right?

I know its a diffrent league, but look at the likes of Jude Bellinghham in Germany, DOes he not deserve a chance this summer to stake a first team spot?

The idea of him doing the same in our red is a tempting one, but think next season might be a big season for us and not one in which to dump a very young lad into a ton of expectation and scrutiny.

Think I would like to see him get one more season or half season even out on loan to either a PL club that wll give him game time (maybe a newly promoted club) or offer him to Blackburn for a second loan spell if the lad is happy to do that.

He does look more than a bit special for his age though.
