Thanjk you.

I think we are going to ruin the lad playing him this way. He should be no more than an impact sub in forward areas for now.

Yep. They're going to completely kill his confidence if this continues.
Carvalho too, having to watch the Ox try huff and puff his way around the pitch offering sweet fa, meanwhile one of our best youngsters sits on the bench for 3 games whilst we're playing like ****e.

The Ox far from offering sweet fa actually scored and probably put in the best shift in a poor team performance, he’s been out too long and is now getting up to speed. Never going to replace Mane or Diaz but he’s a better player than he gets credit for.

...he's a better LFC TV new kit launch presenter than he gets credit for too.
Pretty sure if Salah on his 400k was played in midfield he would look equally poor.
Elliott is only 19 and being played out of position in a role he is not physically suited to, alongside a broken midfield and defenders and strikers who are all off form.
Not the easiest time for a teenager. Some of the abuse he has been getting is unreal.
He is the biggest young talent we have had in a while and people are wanting us to sell before he has finished growing.
I think Doak and Bajcetic are more exciting but agree he’s out of position and been out of form since the injury but a talent to nurture, he’s be back.

I think there is a big questionmark over Harv. He is young so has the time to develop and is likely to get physically stronger, but he needs to work out what sort of player he wants to be because it will help him choose his next steps. For example, is he a Keegan, a Salah, a Silva or what? At the moment I think he has stopped progressing and he wouldn't be anywhere near my 11 if my 11 were playing reasonably well (which of course they are not).

Physically he needs to beef up, so he's not shifted off the ball so easily, then it's about where you can slot him into a team.
If he beefed up then in our usual 4-3-3 system his best position IMO is Salah's spot.
And I'm not suggesting for one minute he's good enough to fill that position for us.
Given his physical shortcomings, the only way he succeeds in a midfield berth is by being exceptional positionally and by having a ludicrously high passing success %.
Anything else and he's not LFC 1st eleven quality.

He would excel in multiple positions in the City team imo - for us I really don't see where he fits.
