He has some limitations to his game at this stage but I think he's been great recently and he works so hard too. He definitely has stepped up imo.

          What limitations are those?

Lack of pace in that wide position

I think Elliots performance has got a little overlooked, he was absolutely brilliant (and has been the last few games).

He never gave the Man City players any peace, his defensive work seems to have ramped up a couple of levels but he's still been excellent going forward. I heard someone compare him to Bernardo Silva which I thought was quite good.

It's mad to think him, Quansah and Bradley are only 20 years old and are putting in the levels of performances we have been seeing.

I think the Bernardo Silva comparison is probably quite accurate.

I feel that we now have now gone from last season having a midfield picked out of necessity (no other options) to one where when everyone's fit I don't know who should start Endo, MacAllister, Szoboszlai, Jones and Elliott have all been excellent, Gravenberch had been growing into the side prior to his injury.

On top of that Clark and McConnell have done well when called upon, they are still somewhat raw and need experience before they are in the conversation, but they look promising talents, and there is still Bajcetic to come back from injury.
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

                  Morton too. Oh and Thiago.

Earlier in the season Harv was a very energetic sub but when started struggled to get into the game....that has changed now so all credit to him.

He was ridiculous against City. Brilliant game from him.

When he plays further forward I don’t think the pace is necessary an issue as he seems to have a different role to a Salah or Diaz. He drifts around a lot more so if you have Bradley and Szobozlai type players in the team they can take up that space. It allows Elliot to pick up the ball in dangerous areas where he can make those incisive passes.

Entirely believable. Southgate is a fraud.

Thank God for Southgate then! He's on our payroll, I'm sure of it.

And the proof will be when he plays Saka for two 90 minute games.

Always the same. Liverpool's English stars never get a look in at the national level because the managers can't figure out how to incorporate them. So many examples, but LFC have won loads and England haven't won anything for nearly 60 years..
                                Really?
