I thought that we would get more cash for Mignolet. Wasn't a rumoured £8m bid from Palace laughed out of town? And a £15m value reportedly put on his head? Or am I imagining all of that?

I am also surprised that he went back to Belgium. Although perhaps they paid him a good salary and he wanted to go home. He has been given a 5 year contract too. Although wasn't he on 100k per week at LFC? Would be surprised if they were able to give him anything near that...... and surely he could have went there in 2 or 3 years time - perhaps after playing for someone else for a while first.
