    I think we will.

I wouldn't be surprised to see Matip come in for Gomez. And perhaps Naby in midfield either. Plus Mane for Origi.

How many subs are ya allowed in this thing??? Hopefully its something like the charity shield where 6 are allowed. Would be brilliant to get this game boxed off before the hour and bring on a few subs.

Would like to see Brewster get some minutes if its possible.

I'd be surprised if we drop Origi. What sort of message would it send after convincing him to extend his contract and then dropping him after he plays well and scores?

After the Alisson incident, I also think we'll be less likely to rush Mane back.
If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

he brought on Mane when we had the game v Norwich won - a half an hour or so after the Alisson incident.

Origi knows he is 4th choice.

Origi will be a great impact player for us and get game time but Mane is one of the best forwards in the world. As soon as he is fit, he will be straight back in.

Yep the usual front 3 will definitely start this one IMO. Origi knows the score, he'll have to continuously play out of his skin if he's going to keep any of them out of the team.

I think the goal for Origi is to be the first one to come in once one of them drops out of the team.

However, on the other side of the coin, we were open as **** against Norwich the other night. And a better team would have scored a few more goals against us. Hopefully Virgil tightens that up. But I would think that with Alisson also out, that could help Chelsea. If I was Lampard, then I'd be telling my players to shoot on sight for the first 20 minutes or so.

When all is said and done though, we are better than them. So if we are on our game, then we win.
I would be surprised if Mane starts, I imagine that he'll come on as a sub again maybe for the last half hour, that said this could go to extra time and pens so depending on his fitness and the game situation he might leave it a bit longer.
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

I'm looking forward to this and genuinely hope we put out a strong team.
Wanna win this and the world club cup. May be interested in the premier league as well..
                  Really?

I’m a big fan of Origi, but yeah, he knows the score when MFS are fit.

Not disputing Origi is 4th choice, but why risk Mane if we don't have to? Everybody is worried that we don't have cover for the front 3, so why take a chance? We should have more than enough to beat Chelsea with Origi in the team, so I see no reason to drop him for this game.

I'll be surprised if Origi doesn't start this game, but then again I was convinced Matip would start against Norwich, so what do I know...

I think we'll use this as the friendly it is. A pretty strong line up with a bit of rotation in midfield and I also see no reason to not continue a period of relative rest for Mane.

                          Adrian
                          Trent Matip VVD Robbo
                          Fabinho
                          Milner Keita
                          Origi Firmino Salah

We might even see Ox IMO.

Most of our subs are better than the majority of their first teamers. Ox, Shaq, Lallana, Keita, Milner, Origi. Only Klopp knows if they're match ready though.

I don't think Klopp will consider this a friendly.
