Why wasn't he willing to show a little more patience at his boyhood club? He was progressing well and the unfortunate injury to Glatzel bumped him even further up the pecking order. I honestly don't get his thought process on this one.

I think he's burned his bridges here now unfortunately.
So that's here and City, not many bridges left in the UK, glad to see this resolved.

Arrividerci, make sure to close the door on your way out.

Looking forward to seeing you return in the 'where are they now' files thread.

very badly advised, but can't help thinking his family could also have helped; thinking you are too good to wait for an opportunity, whilst learning from Pep/Man City; then missing a year of football, signing for Liverpool, only to be too impatient to learn from Jurgen & his team.....

As much as i dislike Pep & his 40 strong squad of multimillionaires, both he & Jurgen have a proven & successful track record, so leaving the then Champions, then leaving the current Eurporean champions is completley bizarre.

I read something (on Reddit I think) where someone said that Duncan had been told he wouldn't be offered a contract at the end of his current deal, but I've not seen that reported anywhere...any one on here know if there's a grain of truth in this? I got the impression that he was very highly rated?

His agent suggested that on one of his tweets. Seems unusual that the club would say one year into a 3 year contract that they have no intention of renewing.
If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

He scored 30+ goals last season. As if we'd just let his contract expire. Makes no financial or footballing sense.

If his agent said it then we can safely assume its bollocks

My betting is he will go to Italy not be involved anywhere near enough for his liking and after 12 months him / and his agent will kick off

He will get a move back to England to a Championship club or lower and disappear into obscurity
Bob Paisley - "This club has been my life. I'd go out and sweep the street and be proud to do it for Liverpool if they asked me to."

Yep. “He’s homesick, Fiorentina are holding him against his will” in 12 months nailed on.

What a sorry state of affairs

He's just a kid, its ok for him to believe in himself. **** his parasite of an agent and **** his stupid parents for allowing this

                      Stupid
I saw a dead fish on the pavement and thought "what did you expect?"
There's no water round here stupid, should have stayed where it was wet

He'll go a similar way as Sinclair IMO.

Yep, he can go play up front with Jerome Sinclair.

Would kind of love if Dejan joined an Italian team and cleaned the prick out when their teams meet.

                            Joker.

Apparently he was Steven Gerrards cousin and all.....

Also - my opinion on this; He clearly doesn't have the right mentality to play for a Klopp team or for Liverpool in general so it's best that we cut ties now.
