I reckon Fabinho to start then. With Bobby on the bench. With the games coming thick and fast, then surely Klopp has to start to use his squad a bit more.
Would people go with an Salah-Mane-Origi front 3?? Or put Shaqiri there??
-------------------------------------ADRIAN-----------------------------------
TRENT-----------MATIP--------------------------VIRGIL--------ROBERTSON
-----------------------------------FABINHO------------------------------------

SALAH-----------------------------MANE-------------------------------ORIGI
Is probably the team I would like to see start.
I do hope Shaqiri gets on the pitch for a bit too though.
A win here and we can just watch our rivals play. I know City should spank Norwich, but you never know. Away from home after an international break is a balls. That said, I would be surprised to see City not score at least 3 goals past Norwich defence.
We just need to win and keep the run going. I suspect Newcastle will start time wasting precisely 15 seconds after kick off. Hopefully we can get a goal early on and make them come out.

Hmmm tough one, I think there’s a lot to be said for going full strength, winning the game early on and let everyone take it handy in the second half.. that being said, you’d like to think we will smash Newcastle even if we are starting the likes of origi/shaqiri..
In terms of resting them FOR the Napoli game- I’d be happy if he plays the cup team against Napoli tbh, given we have Chelsea away the weekend after, and they don’t travel midweek.. I know that they’re a bottom half team at the moment, but given the rivalry between the clubs, I think Chelsea will raise their game for us, similar to how Everton do every yearI don't tip

I don't think we can afford to rest too many. It's too much of a gamble. I suspect 1 or 2 will be rested in both this and the Napoli game. Then back to full strength for the Chelsea game.
Firmino and Fabinho seem the obvious one to drop out for the Newcastle game as they've travelled loads.
Then possibly Salah and/or Mane on the bench against Napoli? Hard sell that to both of them as they won't want to miss a Champions League match!
Robertson is also going to need a break too, so possibly Milner at LB for that one.

Yeah lets not forget the Geordies beat Spurs away - no easy games in this leagueOriginally posted by Pablo View PostI don't think we can afford to rest too many. It's too much of a gamble. Just had a look and Firmino actually scored in each of his 3 starts after internationals last year. 2 games against Spurs and away to Watford, so difficult enough games.
Still wouldn't start him for reasons mentioned above, but clearly it's not that big an issue if we do.If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

Yep, although he stayed on the bench for Brazil prior to the 1st Spurs game, only played 1st half for Brazil before Watford and their game before the other Spurs match was in the Czech Republic and was 5 days before our game.Originally posted by RedReet View PostJust had a look and Firmino actually scored in each of his 3 starts after internationals last year. 2 games against Spurs and away to Watford, so difficult enough games.
