I'd be disappointed if any of our regular outfield players start. Given we've hardly rotated, as Origi was injured after 30 minutes vs Newcastle, and Wijnaldum replaced Oxlade-Chamberlain, this is the time to do it.

I think giving Kelleher a run out makes sense as he's currently our backup and has no first team experience.

I think with Origi out we are lacking options upfront, and it's unclear who would play in the fullback positions, but I would rather play some of the kids and get knocked out than risk first team players.

I'd like to progress in the competition to give backup players game time, but I'm not bothered at all about either the league cup or FA cup to be honest. Somehow we always seem to manage to injure someone in these types of games.
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

Subs/Reserves all the way. Not like it'll be weak anyway, Shaq, Lallana, maybe Naby, Ox, Milner etc against a team of carpet fitters, shop assistants and bin men.

Huge win! They aren't a bad side Chelsea, especially at home.

I think we were in complete control until about 65 minutes when we hit a brick wall and looked absolutely exhausted. Would have been nice if Bobby scored to make it 3 after HT but we seem to love doing things the hard way, as always

Yeah, I think Chelsea's position isn't a true reflection on them. I think they'll kick on and do pretty well this season.
          Oh I don't know.

They're not doing that badly they are level on points with Man Utd and Spurs

Remember when we were terrible at defending set pieces and never scored from them?

                  You're cooler than I. I wouldn't even queue.

Not a lot of love for Adrian in this thread. I thought he was outstanding. Way better than I thought he was and he's really worked out well for us. A superb back up. And a bit of a cult hero already in a few months, remarkable stuff.

He did really well, was always going to be back up but is probably better than our previous first choice keepers in Mignolet and Karius

Another player that hasn't got a huge amount of credit was Henderson, he was everywhere today, he really seems to like playing against Chelsea, it tends to bring out his aggressive side too, he must really hate them

Fabinho was the first to establish himself as one of our first choice midfielders, but Henderson and Wijnaldum are now making it really difficult to displace them.

Clearly, but it’s the second longest winning run in top flight history. That’s an incredible achievement.

City are going nowhere but a 5 point lead with 6 games gone and the rest disappearing behind us is also nothing to be sniffed at.

The team we have just now lives in City’s shadow, the media ****ing LOVE city. Watford weee pathetic yesterday. First City goal was good, second was off a gus face third a pen, they put up no fight.

It’s goibg to take an incredible effort to win the League this season, but you know this team willl give everything to achieve it.

The only place left where it's okay to discriminate based on people's appearance, or perception of it. Mind bendingly hypocritical.

****e second half, absolutely ****e, thought Henderson in that second half was awful.

Met Tyler yesterday, He's the "assistant manger" at Woking - I'm home for a few days and I did Chorley vs Woking.
He's lanky ****er for sure, but in fairness he took time out to meet people and have a chat
