To be fair. The last two times we got lower league opposition in the third round, Plymouth in 2017 and Exeter in 2016, we needed replays to get past them - that was playing with mainly youngsters. The last time we had Everton in the third round was Virgil van Dijk's debut complete with a match winner.

We have Ox, Milner, Keita, Shaq, Lallana, Gomez, Origi, Elliot that all need mins. We can easily put out a strong side vs Everton in the cup without compromising the first 11 too much.
