I'm made up that we qualified as group winners after some tough luck against Napoli home and away. Overall, tonight was a good win, once we had scored we killed them mercilessly. But the 50 mins before that were not good imo.

Mo comes totally alive when we have more penetration in CM. We don't do badly anyway so can't argue with the results, it's a team game after all but I think individually he suffers a bit when so much is concentrated on the full backs. He's looked near unstoppable his whole time here when Phil has been there, then Ox and there's already some amazing link ups with Naby happening.

Am over in the UK with work and just back from the pub after watching the game

So firstly - what a win, people will say of course you won away to Salzburg but at home they have lost once in around 70 odd games and are smashing teams left right and centre. They are a good side as they showed tonight.

If we start with Klopp he got the team spot on - I guess the GK, back 4 and front 3 pick themselves. Away to Salzburg was going to be a high intensity, high transition game and the Naby, Gini, Hendo midfield was the right pick where all 3 excel in the end to end games.

Salzburg are a good side and for the first 30 mins or so they had us on the back foot and when they passed the defence Alisson was superb. The defence got in some last ditch blocks and tackles when they needed to - I know we rode our luck a bit but again to stress these are a good side.

Up top we could have scored a hatful - on another night Salah finishes with 4 goals and it shows his character (I know ) that he kept getting it to position to get on the end of the chances. His goal was amazing as was Naby’s after a fantastic team move.

We really are a superb side and we seem to be timing our performances perfectly - doing the bare minimum in league games but when we need to lift it we can. I tell you guys we are being spoilt right now and we will look back on this in years to come at how good this side is.

I want to win the club World Cup as we’ve never won it and the form we are in right now + being able to rotate (except CB) we are in with a great chance. If we keep going like this the sky is the limit

Salzburg asked a lot of questions tonight but we ran over the top off them. They blitzed is first half and we still created the better chances. Then when they tired we showed our class.
