Tough draw as they re arguably the most ‘difficult’ side to play against in the last 16. They are not the side of previous years and they went through a big turnover of players this summer and lost Godin, Greaseman, Rodri, Luis, Lucas H and Juanfran - all first team regulars. They still have:

Oblak - arguably the only keeper that could be better than Alisson, although his overall game might be worse

Giminez - one of the best CBs in the world

Saul, Koke and Herrera is a v strong midfield

Joao Felix, D Costa and Morata (not so much) mean they have decent forwards

Full backs are now Trippier and Lodi who are good going forward but bad defensively.

If we play at our best we should go through but this will be very tough, they are like Napoli but even better so we need to really up it

It will be a fairly competitive tie. They have a good goalie in Oblak, good CB in Gimenez although otherwise average defence, a decent midfield with Koke. Thomas Partey, Saul & Tomas Lemar, but an average forward line with Felix & Morata. Our guys will be up for it though! Reckon it'll be a 0-0 or 1-1 draw at their place and we'll put them away at Anfield 2-0.

Excluding us, they may be the team that represents their manager on the pitch the most. Far from an ideal opponent to play over 2 legs. This is the CL though and you have to win the tough games. I consider us favourites, should be a really good tie regardless. Their midfield has a lot of quality and bite, so looking forward to the contest.

Poor effort- only tells half the story.

Please post their equivalent fixtures over the time period.

              3rd place. Worst champions ever.

If we get Minamino can he play the CL games?

good side, flying this year. Spurs will probably beat them but it won't be an easy game.

He sure can , they changed the rules

I reckon every team didn't want us at all over 2 legs

Everton away after the 2nd leg is a tough fixture.

I presume it will be a 12:00 KO too.

Zero travelling, so not all bad.
If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

As long as they play Pickford we'll be fine.
