Couldn't get into that game - such a drop off in intensity from every Prem game that it felt like a friendly or something. I'm really not arsed about this, but obviously hope we win it. Just win on Saturday, no injuries, and get the **** out of there.

    Annoying game.

But they’ve had a week to acclimatise.

We just rock up - put out an experimental team with 2 midfielders on defence... and still win.

No Virgil, Degsy, Matip, Fabinho bit no doubt we’ve still not had any injuries.

Our substitutes were the salt in the soup.

Did what we had to do. Rested a few players and game managed quite well without being brilliant. Onto the final now.

Very few players in the world would have made that assist instead of whipping the ball in head height.

The silver lining was that we could have sent our Carabao kids out there for the playoff.

But as it was, we were the more likely winner in the end.

TAA is so special, I said a few years ago he'd be world class but he clearly is now.

Klopp is working wonders with the rotation. It's frustrating but completely understandable and he's threading that line brilliantly.

Fwiw, I didn't think Lallana was that bad, Hendo as a CB though.

Ideal situation, if we had scored earlier they are the type of team that would have spent the rest of the game kicking lumps out of our players, scoring so late negated that

Mo was brilliant tonight, thought Naby excellent too. That Hendo at CB scenario should never happen again. Don't think i've ever seen Robbo getting caught out so much.

Thank **** no extra time, lads didn't use too much energy in that game anyways. On to the final we go.
