Agree that we were looking fresh and playing some of the best football of our season, last few games... but we saw the risk with what happened Milner last week, a rest was defo overdue..

If you mean the little trip abroad, Klopp always does a mini pre-season on those trips, which means it takes a few weeks to get our rhythm back.

We haven't had one of those trips, and the likes of Reddy and Honigstein, who've made reference to these mini pre-season style breaks, haven't suggested we've done that here.

Oxlade should get plenty of change out of a midfield of Winks, Dele and Eriksen.

Not sure playing a kid in this game make s a lot of sense but at least he's at home and has experience around him. Shame Vertognen isn't playing as his form has fallen off a cliff recently.

Also a bit tight on Jones not making the bench but at least we've another guaranteed cup game for him to start in and hopefully a few dead rubbers at the end of the season to enjoy.
