The thing is if we had a fully fit squad then our ‘cup’ side would be very strong

Adrian, Williams, Lovren, Matip, Milner, Lallana, Ox, Naby, Minamino, Shaq, Origi

Kelleher, Hoever, Larouchi, Jones, Chirivella, Elliot, Brewster

Out of interest, what was Shearer saying about us playing a weakened team yesterday? I remember last year that he was furious when we did it against Wolves I noticed that he was on the BBC panel yesterday, but didn't watch any of those parts.

Edit: He was on there with Crouch and Osman, nothing sticks out though I only tuned in bang on 1600. Just had a look on iPlayer, he was quite understanding of it because of the CWC and the desire to win the league.

Really? I had the volume down as what as at a family thing but I'm convinced I saw him in the room after the game?!

Fair enough. It's a shame though as I quite enjoyed his fume last year

Looked at that goal a few times now and surprised it’s not been said but it’s reminiscent of that Rooney goal vs Arsenal when he broke onto the scene
