A shame it had to against Everton, but I’m glad we’re putting our players fitness first.

    That'll do nicely

Not happy with that line up to be honest. We shouldn't be giving these ****s an ****ing inch never mind justcgoving up on this game. However saying that needs must with the games we have coming up.

Wouldnt have minded this team vs anyone else, win or lose, but vs THEM and an almost certain loss

It’s not about making a point, it’s about protecting players at risk of fatigue injuries. The expectations of how often players should perform these days is absurd.

Getting their first win at Anfield in years is going to be a massive weight off them and a renewed confidence to get the league win. Think the team is too weak to win and a draw is a danger now. Would prefer to have won this and chucked round 4 to be honest

The thought of having my first day back at work the day after getting spanked by Everton at Anfield, doesn’t really fill me with joy.

We might get something from the game... but it’s hugely unlikely.
What can you do? We’ve several injuries in midfield, we’ve another midfielder having to plug a gap in defence.

We last played 3 days ago. And 4 days before that, and 3 days before that, and so on back to 23rd November. All the while rotation has been limited because of injuries. Have to draw a line somewhere.

I can see the joy they will get that they stopped us winning the treble, As we wrap the CL with a 6-0 win vs Madrid in the final, The league is wrapped up in April.....Everton go out in the next round to Sheff Wednesday......But they stopped us winning a treble
