Van Dijk is a man mountain, but if that was Alisson catching the ball there, he'd be eating grass.
If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

I think he just lost balance trying to turn his body to try and make a tackle. He just couldn't go faster than Salah there.

If de gea went steaming in and punched it then he'd have cleared it.

        100% no foul.

          without a doubt it wasn't a foul.

Also, the ref should have booked every one of them for the way they complained.

When the goal was ruled out, did ya see the likes of Maguire and DeGea throwing their hands up in the air then as well. Almost a "ohhh for f**k sake..... goalie got carded for nothing"

In reality, that was one where the ref should have been made to go over to the screen and watch it again. If the approach is to undo a "clear and obvious error" only, then there is no ****in way that should have been ruled out. Not a ****in hope.

Without a doubt , Ref gave the goal so thought it was one.

If he had seen the replay he would not have changed his mind.

Thought the ref was great yesterday.

The fury heard on every forum if that goal had stood would have been glorious.

Me too - didn't really put a foot wrong most of the match. Maybe could have given Matic a second yellow but otherwise no complaints.

If VAR wanted to question the goal then why didnt the ref go to the pitchside monitor as per the new instructions for the refs...

It didn't cost us the game in the end so I'm not that bothered.

Adrian Durham made a good point on the disallowed goal (I know, I know, even a stopped clock...) - VAR are supposed to only be overturning clear and obvious errors. The debate about whether it was a foul or not is evidence enough that it wasn't clear and obvious, so there's no way that anyone should be over-ruling the ref on that decision. Why not use the screens if you must ask the ref to review their decision? You can't just over-rule them on something as debatable as that.

Saw some post match analysis (I think MOTD) where they were saying De Gea’s yellow should be rescinded, because he was right. Is like right so if the ref gets a call wrong, you have a license to do what you want, as long as VAR overrules him.
                              I don't tip

Haha, I loved when he said that this united team on paper should be above the likes of Chelsea and Leicester, and then they’re like ok so would you not blame the manager then?? He had no answer for them, the clown. It was a prince Andrew level interview fail! Some joker
