Liverpool vs Shrewsbury Town - (FA Cup - Round 4 replay)

    UK:
    Tuesday 4th February at 7:45pm

    Australia:
Perth Time: 5th February at 3:45am
QLD Time: 5th February at 5:45am
    NSW/VIC: 5th February at 6:45am

    -------------------

    This is it!

Well we didn't see that coming! Good on Shrewsbury for having a go and being rewarded with a replay. And rewarded they might be when we effectively field our Under-23 side along with the manager, Neil Critchley.

I think we'll be good enough to go through but it will be hard fought.

I take it Adrian will not be playing? If it's Kelleher then I fear our FA Cup journey is over. He was very susceptible against a poor-ish Villa B team.
    One tit for another.

I assume Adrian will be on the break with the first team I assume we will see something like we saw against Villa in the LC:

      Kelleher
      Williams
      Hoever
      Van den Berg
      Larouci
      Chiravella
      Christie-Davies
      Jones
      Elliott
      Longstaff
      Hill
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

I hope Elliot goes full Romario.

Larouci is a doubt so Adam Lewis might start

Personally I think we should play the fringe players for match fitness. Players like Lallana, Lovren, Matip need games for their sharpness & then there’s the likes of Keita, Minamino, Origi & Fabinho who could do with a match but wouldn’t be risked in case of injury.
Me, I’m either planning a holiday or I’m on one.

I personally agree, but I think that Klopp has to give all the first team squad a break as that is what he has promised, but I think that the fringe players should volunteer to play, and if they do, Klopp should allow them to play, but the decision should be made by each player individually (but the regulars have to take a break).

Fab started v Southampton so wouldn’t start on Tuesday - not after a long lay-off.

Yeah I like the volunteer idea. Show everyone what an honor it is to play for our great club. And a chance for most of the senior players who played the first match to redeem themselves.

Yeah he was a starter but he could come off the bench if needed.

                      Lallana should play.

Looking forward to this one one. Sounds like it will be a slightly stronger team than the one that played against Villa. With a home crowd they've got a decent chance hopefully.

For those mentioning people like Fabinho etc, I'd imagine ALL the senior players are off on holiday. No chance of any of them even being on the bench IMO. I thought that had already been confirmed.

Can we claim we bought Minamino for the reserve team?
