Like always an early goal and we'll steamroller our way through.
No panic if it's still goalless going into the 2nd half but we really do need to make sure the midfield protects the defence better than of late.
I think we'll win 3-1 but it'll be a nervy game. A good referee will be very important to see through their ****housery.
Costa is not the same player, nowhere near. We just need to watch out for the theatrics and not get wound up.
Mane is going to rip Trippier apart and that'll be the catalyst for Bobby to really influence the game. I've no doubt Salah will turn it on big time too and score.
Just no silly mistakes at the back and we'll go through.

Liverpool v Atletico Madrid (Wed, agg 0-1)
Percentage chance of progression
Team Quarter-final Semi-final Finalists Runners-up Winners
Favourites to progress in bold. Source: Euro Club Index
Liverpool 51% 37% 24% 10% 15%
Atletico Madrid 49% 23% 10% 6% 4%
How has this score played out previously?
Teams winning 1-0 at home in the first leg have progressed 23 times and been eliminated 10 times.
European football journalist Kristof Terreur:
"Atletico had a strong game plan when they beat Liverpool but they haven't been that good. We saw the real Atletico against Liverpool - but don't underestimate Liverpool at home. Usually they can go the extra mile."
Spanish football journalist Guillem Balague:
"Liverpool have struggled to break teams down. It needs to be a low-scoring game for Atletico to go through. Their hope again is to score early, but if it is about defending they are happy to do it, not scared at all."
Any hope for Liverpool?
Liverpool don't need to look too far back for inspiration. The feat of overturning a 3-0 first-leg deficit against Barcelona in last season's semi-final will be fresh in their minds. What do you mean it could've been anyone? Name me one person who's got a grudge against penguins

F*** off!!!

Was it the Salzburg home game?Originally posted by npinn001 View PostReffed the Salzburg game. Did we get much that day, cant remember?
I seem to remember the ref not being great in that one
Mind you the refs have been utter **** in general this season so not much change thereBob Paisley - "This club has been my life. I'd go out and sweep the street and be proud to do it for Liverpool if they asked me to."
