Adrian clearly has to take a lot of the blame, but we need to be more clinical in front of goal, we are nowhere near as clinical as we need to be, that is why so many games have been so tight.

We've had a good run in Europe the last few years, but it's disappointing that we went out like this. If Alisson were playing we would be through, but **** happens.

Adrian is to blame those types of mistakes in these moments are unforgivable.

He really wasn’t. He was erratic but we got the results regardless.
That and his Super Cup penalty save meant his patchy performances got overlooked.

We had nearly 40 shots on goal, their keeper had man of match performance and our keeper cost us the game. We were unreal right up until Adrian.

Obviously, but we had done enough against a defensive side. Letting them back into a game that they’ve been totally dominated in killed us.

Well, it is what it is now. When the oppositon only need one goal to **** you, you need to take your chances and we had buckets.

Bit of a heartbreaker, zero fortune in either tie and Allison injury in between. Feels like Madrid final again.

Tbh I think we would have struggled to go mucb further if playing in front of an empty anfield.
