Not sure Klopp forgives European howlers. Moreno, Karius. Told to sit out out or feck off. We might be looking for another number two soon enough. Adrian has been brilliant but you get your howlers out of the way in recoverable positions. Not games like these, that's just unacceptable and, I might add, unforgivable.

But on the game not sure I'm feeling too upset. CL was never going to conclude naturally so getting through and then canning it would have felt just as bad. What is good is that we're still holders and champions for another 14 odd months.

It’s a shame because this is one of the best Liverpool sides which could have gone on to win the treble. Mistakes cost us at the wrong moments.

I think the potential freshening up of the squad in the summer might work wonders for us, and make us stronger next season.

I don't think that this is all on Adrian (yes he made errors) but, we had and wasted a lot of chances in 90mins, put another one in and it's a different story. We need to be more clinical in front of goal, it's an area we have been lacking in all season if we are honest, we have just got away with it most of the time.

Though Oblak's handling looked dodgy at times, a few ropey spills and not sure that ****ed cross was intentional like Mcmanaman tried to claim. Alisson is miles ahead of every goalie on this earth.
