Salah has been like that much of the season. I think that you could probably extend that to all the front three for much of the season, Mane has had a couple of very good patches, but that aside it feels as though none of them have been spectacular. Not sure if that is tiredness or what. I might be tempted to give Origi a start in the derby, instead of one of them, he has a good re Ord against Everton. The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

Best Season? not sure it is panning out that way TBH. Amazing 6 months & blew every ****er away, but Man C have been ****e this year; had they not lost 7 games in the league, i would be deeply concerned about our current form extending thru to the end of the seasonOriginally posted by BG1973 View PostCome on people, we were desparately unfortunate but regardless, we are having our best season in 30 years.
Breathe it in
The drama can wait a year.. That's fine by me

I think that the recent slip in performance level is probably as a result of being so far clear, I think it's a subconscious thing and performance levels have dropped a little. Were we in a title race like last season I think the performances wouldn't have dropped off.Originally posted by S-RED View PostBest Season? not sure it is panning out that way TBH. Despite this drop off in form we could still have the title wrapped up in March. That's something I doubt even the most optimistic of us would have dreamed of.Last edited by Exiled_red; 12-03-20, 12:40 AM.The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

Of course it is. What would you wish for at the start? Doesn't matter to me how the result is achieved.
Remind myself of the feeling of losing it by a point last year to those petro cunts? Utterly depressing. What's the point etc etc.
Never imagined we could go again and we have. It's been magnificent.

I haven't read what everyone has said yet so before my thoughts are contaminated by negativity I want to say that I was really happy with our performance and attitude today.
We haven't played like that for a couple of months IMO.
Obviously the result is bad, Adrian made a mistake for the first goal, the second was a good goal and the third was at the end of the game when it was always probable that they could score on a counter.
I also don't want to blame Adrian for his mistake. He made some good saves too and overall he's been excellent this season as a second choice goalkeeper that joined us after preseason.
No one expected him to be needed so much this season and thank God we got him because imagine what the alternative scenario would have been!

I get your point - last week we were on for the treble and invincible or whatever, and now we only have the league. It's a little disappointing because this team is the best in Europe, and were capable of winning everything, with a little luck...Originally posted by fabinho View PostWe have.
We've sorted the league out which is great, but we've done it so early on that its already a given. Its like the rest of the season is now just done.
When we won the league at a canter, destroying everyone, to end up like this is all now a bit meh, which is odd given that we've finally got the league. If we were still battling for the league with City on our tails I'd still feel like we had something left to fight for. Its odd granted, but the sparks definitely gone a bit.
but **** me, what a self-entitled cunty attitude to have. We have to win everything, every year to be successful? 3 years ago we weren't in Europe at all - not even he Europa league. In those 3 years, we qualified for Champions league 4 times, got to 2 finals, won one of them.
Last year, we win the ultimate prize in football, and everyone (me included) saying how we would swap it for the league- that's the one we wanted for years, the bread and butter, etc etc etc... Now we walk the league, and we have morons like you saying how the season is a downer.
If this season is a downer for you, you're best off finding a new hobby.I don't tip
