Whilst I am not disagreeing or offering any approval of our response. I think it has to be easier for us as an island to control the spread of the disease. Our borders are far easier to control, so any mistakes we make are less likely to be magnified.Originally posted by cream View PostIt's shocking last nights game was allowed to happen given the levels in Madrid. UEFA, which is due to meet on Tuesday the various components of European football, is expected to announce on this occasion the suspension of the Champions League and the Europa League, as well as the postponement of the Euro to 2021 http://ow.ly/aozk50yK1emThanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

Trouble is how long do you suspend it for,say the end of the month like the dutch and with no let up in the virus so they decide on another 2 weeks then a month, then if no improvement they just cancel the season and start fresh in august atleast behind close doors we get some games and a finish to the season.Originally posted by rodo View Postwould take a suspension all day over the behind closed doors nonsense

There's no way our response will be anywhere near as militant as China's was. But at least we can thank them for a successful blueprint for what to do when things go south.Originally posted by Buzzo View PostWe should just shut the season down to be started at a later date. There were only 8 new cases of Coronavirus confirmed in Wuhan yesterday, so we are looking at, say, a 6 week break.
