I like that sentiment.

Pretending it’s only sport does a disservice to the amount of time billions of people put into following sport. It is the ultimate release from daily life where people from all walks of life travel the same emotional journey together.

We will miss it whilst it’s away. The first games back in front of crowds will be immense scenes of total celebration.

Maybe a new understanding and appreciation of what it all means will bring new understanding for us all.
