Dead right. Just shows you how important sport is to us all.Originally posted by Buzzo View PostI’m watching a live stream of Scotland v Aus (Rugby) from 2017 on YouTube on my TV. I was there.
Already seems surreal to imagine being sat in and amongst 67,000.
Steaming classic matches is the way forward just now. Hope they do it with LFC YouTube channel.
I’m starting to genuinely realise how sport underpinned my life. I love it. Edinburgh matches on a Friday night, then the footy on Sat/Sunday...
The emotion, the hope, the ambition, the good times and the bad times. It’s going to be ****ing awesome when it all kicks off again.I love Sarah

All of that plus the community thing, the bonding it allows us to do in real life and online...it's a kind of shorthand that lots of us understand. It's so ****ing **** without it, although at the same time I haven't given a second's thought to it for a while now as, while it is important, it's also not at all important. I've seen tweets linking us to certain players in the summer window and I'm scrolling right past. For now, I couldn't give a ****.Originally posted by Buzzo View PostI’m watching a live stream of Scotland v Aus (Rugby) from 2017 on YouTube on my TV. I was there.

Same here. I think this is my second time on here in the past two/three weeks. Other things are more important and football can wait.Originally posted by Shaggy View PostAll of that plus the community thing, the bonding it allows us to do in real life and online...it's a kind of shorthand that lots of us understand. The return of Sport on some level will be a sign that we have returned to some sort of normality. We are a long way from it.
It is such a huge part of everyday life for us all. It will be interesting to see how we all engage with it.Modifying post.

Been worried about same.Originally posted by Liverpool View Postmy only issue with it coming back is the inevitable problem when we win the league and crowds gathering, it will be an awful look for us.
impossible to do but if they could time it for a weekend when restrictions will be relaxed
I hope we set a great example, with the promise of a huge party when it's all over.Like blood on iron

Not going to lie 12 days ago I was planning on being outside the ground for Palace if it was behind closed doors and we could win it. Last 11 days my only potential contacts is 2 shop visits for food.
Seems loads are still behind me in taking it seriously.
Policing by consent wont work and it would get ugly pretty quick if they tried to close it down. You cant close down an entire city anyway.
I cant see any solution to it tbh.
Reworking the fixtures to make us away to Newcastle and Brighton next so its not at Anfield or get City to unexpectedly lose to hand it to us is the best I can come up with.
Get all the players/manger to announce if there is any crowds building up they'll forfeit the game at any point but would still happen after.

I think Klopp would be good to take leadership in that situation. Fans hang on his everyword usually. But a gathering of 500,000 people is mental. Could undo everything the Government is trying to force to happen.
Its a mad situation.
Maybe playing the games at neutral venues that are only made known at kick off. So people cant congregate?*Except Michael, who died.

Ts issue will spring up with other teams than just us. Leeds getting promoted. Celtic winning the League. Relegations avoided. All will be triggers for supporters to hit the streets.Modifying post.
