I wasn't at all up for this.

But, it seems like, maybe, the only solution now? And also, it would be decent to have the distraction.

Saying that, I don't see how they can safely make any plans involving gatherings which even if it is just players and coaches would involve 100's of people right now. Feels like we are in for a period of maybe 4-5 weeks of uncertainty making planning impossble.

Another plan on the table. Finish in August and shorten next season.

I haven't got access to the full article, but I assume finishing in August would be with a view to possibly bringing crowds back at some point?

some bad ****house tricks at the moment from spurs and bourenmouth mainly in terms of screwing over non playing staff

If the 550 non playing staff at Spurs are on an average of £27k a year (I'm sure its less) then the total cost to spurs would be about £250,000 (edit: per month) should they opt to top up the 80% to 100%. ****ing peanuts.

Not that I'd care what Collymore normally says, but

There have been some instances though out there with the likes of Barcelona, a number of German clubs etc taking major cuts in their wages
Certainly those clubs and players in privileged positions should be looking towards how they can help their community.
