I've been saying it for ages the football calender is messed up because of this and 2022 WC. Continue this season when we can and work out a schedule to get us back to normal after the WC.

The idea of next season starting even close to a normal time and being unaffected is pure fantasy, I know that people want to know what is happening and when, but the truth is we don't know what is going to happen. Making decisions on the what happens in a year or so when we don't know if football can resume in June, August, September or January (all dates I have seen mentioned). Personally I think that the plan to have the Euros next summer is looking unrealistic if we are trying to start a new season. For me the only way that happens is if we have a year to finish this season (and don't start another), or next season is significantly shortened.
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

Quite interesting. 4 different ways of determining the final places, all using performance data from the season to date.

Whatever way you do it, the bottom 3 is the same, the CL places are the same, and 2 of the 3 EL places are the same. The only thing that varies is if Spurs or Arsenal the last EL spot.

What are on earth are they doing in the first two that somehow get Man United in to the Champions League spots?

Is it just repeating the outcome of the first match between the two assuming that would happen at the opposite venue?

Not quite sure tbh. As it stands, both 4th and 5th get CL because City are banned, so doesn’t really make much difference who which way around Utd and Chelsea finish anyway.

Fairly sure that will be at the very least delayed.

I have a feeling we're going to get ****ed over here. If that's the case I think I'd rather football just died. The fact that so many fans of other clubs think this is great just shows what cunts people are.

If we get ****ed over I think I would be done with football and I doubt I would be the only one.

If it was Utd under Fergie they would already have plans to finish the season or have awarded it to them already

I'd like to think if they were 20 odd points clear I'd grudgingly accept they deserve it. 5 or so no way.

I think we’ll be ok. UEFA have urged everyone to find a way to resolve their leagues if playing isn’t possible. Voiding wouldn’t actually solve anything anyway.

The contentious things for the PL will be handling relegation/promotion and deciding UEFA places.

Deciding what to do about the title is the easy part.
