          For me the reason I would love the moment to happen for Hendo, is, I think his journey replicates that of the club over the last 30 years. Not only that his career story appeals to me. He has over come the odds and defied the doubters time and again. I like that quality. Replaces club icon too much consternation as captain, and will lift the 2 biggest trophies (at least once). He sets the standards now, and has respect from all players.

          He has also gone on to be easily our best player this year.

          Add to that carries himself with immense dignity and humility at all times...And as discussed earlier this year with Shaggy, he has grown into a very, very handsome man.

              Such a great bunch of lads, you’d like to see anyone of them have the honour.

              Imagine if it were to fall to Origi again though, this to go along with his Champions League clincher!

                  Someone who doesn't get many, some how that makes it more special. Henderson ideally or TAA as someone who has come through the youth system.

                  But to be honest I don't really care as long as we win it.
                  The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

                    This is soo hard to choose! They all deserve it for their individual reasons! Can we just win 16-0 with all 11 starters and 5 subs scoring 1 each please[emoji16]

                      Christ, imagine if it was Lovren... he’d want to lift the trophy... hell, he’d prob be talking about a statue.. I’d prob just wait til the next game to win it..
