We tend to be a team that relies on momentum, when that is broken it can take us a while to get going again. Also for 7 of those games we had nothing to play for.

Pretty irrelevant TBH; we won the league with 7 games to go....... levels dropped, purley for that reason. Next season mentality monsters are back.

City have been really impressive post-lockdown averaging 3 goals per game but it's one of those things... their matches are completely irrelevant, in the background and the pressure's off. I just find teams turning up to play them cant be arsed you need to be really fired up to play City; there's alot of work that needs to be done off the ball and I think alot of the smaller clubs just write the game off and save legs for next game. I think with us, there's the motivation of beating the champions that teams use to spur themselves on. City, obviously also have the CL to keep them motivated, otherwise I think their output would be similar to us.

Yes i agree the CL has kept their focus up; also they were banking on the FA cup too; they had plenty to keep them motivated throughout.

i also agree other teams raise the white flag as they depart the coach at the Ethiad.....
