Close enoughOriginally posted by Maxiedge View PostSomeone is due a spanking. Might as well be this lot.
What a season lads. I cannot believe how good this team is. Hitting the ball out of play really is a last resort. These guys love to play it around and importantly have the confidence within themselves and their teammates to do so. It really is a footballing machine.
I'd say Man City are up there with us too but then there's a gap I just don't see getting filled as things stand. I could go into a longer discussion why but today is not about that, it's about drinking it in
Obviously not sure whats going to happen in the Newcastle game although would be great to finish on 99 points like a nice cold whippy with a flake.
Going forward, I think there are gaps we could plug, namely: reserve keeper, another CB (Matip- injury prone, Lovren - gone) and personally I would look more towards a creative visionary in midfield rather than a forward.
Cheers everyone! What.a.season.

Aye, then only to compound his misery a moment later when TAA scored from freekick...I dare say he ignored the bench then!
Seriously though, the array of talent on that Chelsea bench...staggering & they bought Ziyech & Werner along with who else they have lined up...if they buy a decent defender along with a top class keeper?Nope, don't need anger management, you just need to stop pissing me off!

I know Tyler and JC said it wasn't a foul, both before and after half time, but I missed the halftime studio talk, what did the panel of 'experts' have to say on it?Originally posted by Buzzo View PostIt WAS a ****ing foul as well.
In my eyes, it was a clear foul. Even if he got the ball (and I'm not sure if he did or not), the tackle was from behind and there was a clear impact with Mane's calf that brought him down. The whistle was in the ref's mouth straight away, the only delay was when he waited to see where the ball went.

Classless prick. Not the first time he's seen his arse in a post match against Liverpool.
Is this the same person that played for Jose Mourinho?Another MASSIVE game

I couldn't stand Lampard in his playing days, but generally I've thought he's come across well since becoming a manager. He's made a right fool of himself here though.
Not that its that important now, but why was he not carded by the fourth official during his hissy fit yesterday? Surely his foul and abusive language is against the rules? Other managers have been sent to the stands for far less in the past.

Why oh why did he not keep filming.Originally posted by Shaggy View Post
100% a foul. Twice.
He'll regret those comments.

Just watching the game again. Chelsea are such moaners! They’re willing to dish it out (the bodychecks against Salah?) but any touch on them and they surround the ref. They were even complaining about the first goal ffs. It’s 100% Lampard trying to mould the team into the old Mourinho style teams and that was him doing his Mourinho impression.Originally posted by Reece View PostI couldn't stand Lampard in his playing days, but generally I've thought he's come across well since becoming a manager. There is zero controversy about the decision. Obvious foul is obvious.Originally posted by BG1973 View PostWhy oh why did he not keep filming.
