Reality bites for Spurs, this time last week they were joint top with a game against us to see if they could go clear. Now they are six points behind us. No sooner have they talked themselves up as genuine contenders then they find themselves lagging behind.

The EFL 1/4's have to be a monumental ball ache for those involved this week. (#inform) Man U, have got Everton on Weds, and then Leicester in the League on Boxing Day.

I actually think our schedule to the end of the year is not too bad and then Southampton away on the 4th. We play 3 games in 14 days. If we can pick up 3 wins, I imagine we will be more than 4 points ahead in the League.

Utd have Leicester away, Wolves home and Villa home in the League. But they play Villa on the first, so have 3 League and one cup match in 10 days. We have 3 League games in 14 days.

Should be an interesting couple of weeks.
    Modifying post.

They won’t win the league though but I don’t think we’ll have it as easy as what it seems it’s panning out at the moment. We’ll know for sure over the next few weeks.
In some ways they feel in a similar place to us in 2017-18. Very different style and quality of manager of course, but focused primarily on one style of play which, when it goes well, makes them look like world beaters, but on other days makes them appear completely toothless.

Really dont believe they have the consistency in attack to get the home results they need to challenge for the title but as you said Fredo, we will see in the next few weeks

Yeah the EFL is a distraction that I’m pleased for others to have but not us. It’s going to be an interesting few weeks as you say & here’s hoping we can pull clear of the pack & make our mark.
Me, I’m either planning a holiday or I’m on one.

Plus bull**** decisions, including penalties after the final whistle.
          3rd place. Worst champions ever.

Let's see how the knee reacts to an intense training session first...feeling hopeful tho!

Perfect timing going into the Christmas schedule
We’ve been playing the Christmas schedule nearly all season with 2 games a week most weeks being the norm.

                      ****ing brilliant news!

Have you seen our midfield list? Holy **** this is top quality stuff..

                      In no particular order -

                      Thiago
                      Henderson
                      Wijnaldum
                      Oxlade-Chamberlain
                      Jones
                      Milner
                      Fabinho
                      Keita

Not a duff player anywhere in that lot and they'll soon all be in contention for a start..
                      Was muß, das muß.

It's outrageous - 8 fighting over 3 spots. It's probably one or two too many? Not complaining, and Milner's coming towards the end.

And Fabinho likely remains a centre back for the rest of this season.

                            And not all available...

                            Henderson. Ok
                            Wijnaldum. Ok
                            Jones. Ok
                            Thiago. Recovering.
                            Oxlade. Unreliable.
                            Milner. Utility.
                            Fabinho. Defence.
                            Keita. Unreliable.

Gives us three certain midfielders, and couple of flaky sicknotes.
removing all the weak links makes us stronger

too many gutless players, no beef or desire. pussies everywhere... sack them all.

From not caring too much about our Aston Villa FA tie to now wanting to win it!! Surely, we will go strong now with not too much fear of fatigue? Villa have some tough PL games around then so they would be mad to go all out on this.

                              Potential line up:
                              Alisson,
                              Neco, Rhys Fab, Milner,
                              Ox, Keita, Jones,
                              Shaq, Minamino, Mane
                              One tit for another.

For me it's not about the number of games or availability of players now, but later in the season, Normally the boxing day fixture is the half way point of the season this year we'll be 4 games behind and the season hasn't been extended that much (1 maybe 2 weeks) so this second half of the season will be crazy without it. 4th and 5th rounds have free dates but these mean moving from one game a week to 2.beyond that PL games have to postponed and dates found to play them. IMO we are way better off out of it early.
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.
