      Such a massive gap up front, for me. No real threat in there.

      Not signing Werner was a mistake. We need to maybe sell Origi and bring a quality player in. Origi has scored some legendary goals, but he does not really suit our system, and we cant seem to get the best out of him.

        Werner was a disappointment for me as well but with CV having knocked about £100m off the balance sheet i think its perfectly understandable. Also, the transfer team get an A* over the last few years so they have plenty of good grace over whatever their plans are for a few years.

                      Joe Gomez has been pretty poor since the break. Didnt he play in about 10 games in a row where we didnt concede earlier in the season?

                        Agreed... We may have a better option.

                        But I worry we wont. And if it is the money, ffp is over 3 seasons, so I am not sure it is that bigger deal. Especially if Salah or Mane leave in the next couple of years.

                        But yeah... I should perhaps have more faith.
