Our young dog is hard work but I defy any cat lover to demonstrate the depth of connection young kids have with a young dog. They're probably working out how to transfer legal guardianship right now!

I'm a 100% dog person, not a fan of felines, but I'd rather have a cat than a bloody Dachshund!

I have never met a nice one.

It's like someone took the worst traits of a Doberman, distilled them into a tiny package, halved the length of its legs and then stretched it to just make them permanently pissed off at the world!

They are hit & miss regarding temperament. Ours doesn’t take to strangers quickly but I’ve met some absolute sweethearts too.
