The rest of the world has to deal with & so does Dan. No exceptions for anyoneOriginally posted by Jaco_Pastorious View PostI think you might be onto something there. Poor Dan feels like he is a floater, the unflushable turd of EST if you will, and ends up projecting those feeling onto defenseless multi millionaire footballers.
Think about it. Keita and Chamberlain are perma crocks and so is Dan with his back. Poor guy has a bath tub in his front garden in which he takes ice baths for cripes sake.
We need to show more consideration around Dan and be more inclusive to folk with his many many conditions. After all there is room in this world for the Timmys as well as the Tsimis.
Does not help Dan when he has to exist around wonderful examples of humanity like you and I, SB.

Well either that or he just watched the latest episode of Ted LassoOriginally posted by Jaco_Pastorious View PostNo but he would suddenly go from seeing them on a daily basis and hanging out with them locally after work to them living much further away within the UK or maybe even in another country.
Was going to say it is a human thing but even cows have pals they prefer to hang with in the herd, so not sure where you rank in the animal kingdom with your lack of empathy towards poor aul Tsimi.

I think Gomez still has a part to play in our future success, and not as a transfer to bring us some money

Would be more likely in place of Kostas. Though you'd expect a suitable defensive option to seriously challenge for the starting berth in the new system.Originally posted by Buzzo View PostI do see the sense in this, but for me it would be an option as opposed to replacement for Robbo. Still gives us the attacking option game/situ dependent.
I wonder what happens with Gomez, he is young, must harbour ambition, but cannot get near the starting XI currently.

Not seeing your nice comment about Dan and not commenting does not count as being nice in this case.

Now go away and think of something nice to add to your post
I will start even though Dan went after the women's game in the general footy forum.
Dan is a fairly regular human being.
See? It is that easy to say something nice, Buzzo.

So… **** that.
Whilst evolution and succession are going to happen I don’t see the need to celebrate it, and do see the need to support the actual guys that represent the club. It’s why the match day experience (either on TV or real life) is so different to the forum based one) you don’t get the same excitement logging into a forum for a load of 40 plus blokes trying to outdo each other with faux insight and pithy commentary. Yes, there is still frustration but it is more organic.
It’s why the romance and nostalgia is ultimately so important in protecting the game.
It’s why tears when a player leaves shows that at least somewhere the game and follow him a team still means something.
