He won’t win every battle with Saka but here’s hoping nothing comes of it when he does lose one
Me, I’m either planning a holiday or I’m on one.

Haven't missed Robbo. Didn't miss TAA when he was injured. Likewise VvD when he was suspended. We've got some proper strength in depth.
      Another MASSIVE game

Yep, we'll need to sign someone. Is Colwill getting games?

Terrible news, he's been a very solid backup and seems like a great guy.

Barring his first few games back in the team he’s done really well over the last month or two.

He’s also the only player at the moment who is providing any width in this team.

Feel for the lad. Gutted for him.

Yeah he’s been really solid recently. The fixture pile up = injuries.

I suppose it depends how long Robbo is away from returning as to where we consider getting a replacement in. We’ve got Scanlan & Luke Chambers in the youth teams that could cover if it’s short term.

We're not buying anyone to cover a month or so. Will be gomez, a youth player ir a loan.

                          Disaster, he's been really good.

Reality of the situation is we probably have to play Gomez there constantly for probably the next 6 weeks, maybe by the end of that period Robertson will be working his way back, but we are still going to need to give Gomez games at LB for some time while Robertson gets back up yo speed and fitness. In this period we have no experienced cover in either fullback position (Gomez was our only cover at RB) and we are one injury at CB from having to rely on Quansah, who has done well when called upon, but don't think chucking him in at the deep end for an extended period will do him or us any favours. We need to bring in someone at tye back who can ideally cove multiple positions

Still can’t believe Saka didn’t even get booked - he made no attempt to play the ball and as a result a Tsimikas was hospitalised and will be out for a considerable time - is that not the very definition of a reckless challenge?

I didn't think there was a lot in it personally. The injury is nothing but bad luck. He could have fell 100 times and not got hurt. He was just starting to look a player again now he's playing consistently. Is that his season done?
