Chelsea finish 3rd & sack Lampard?
Does he get the sack early days & his replacement does an incredible job or he doesn’t win the league so they sack him?
Me, I’m either planning a holiday or I’m on one.

Whys that? Plenty of people don't have us down as winning the thing again. 2/3rd depending on injuries.

That’s exactly the narrative. They have a ****ing shocking start to the season, but the new guy comes in and steadies the ship.

You don’t get first, second, second in the last three years predictions competition without developing an amazing nostradamusesque like quality for knowing what’s about to happen.

I feel a bit pessimistic, partly cos of the point Neville raised (maintaining that intensity we've had for three seasons, that's got to be a huge ask), the fact we've not been consistently good since about February and also due to standing still while others invest. Goes without saying I would love to be wrong.

You're allowed to be pessimistic. You've earned that right.

It’s definitely not going to be easy.

You should get the free 2 weeks of LFCtv go and watch they player interviews about last season. The lads are mega motivated for next season. Defending a title won’t be easy, but, the removal of fans works for us a bit, particularly in away matches. It made me feel loads better about the challenges ahead.

The tail off definitely happened, but. All of the players seem to say they felt the League was won after we beat Utd. No chance we stroll away with it like last year though so we need to prepare for draws and defeats along the way.

Who knows, but for the team and for us as supporters the monkey is finally off our back. So for once we can sit back and enjoy knowing the wait since we last won the League was months not decades.
