I feel a bit pessimistic, partly cos of the point Neville raised (maintaining that intensity we've had for three seasons, that's got to be a huge ask), the fact we've not been consistently good since about February and also due to standing still while others invest. Goes without saying I would love to be wrong.

I half feel feel like that, the other half thinks if anyone can keep it up its Klopp, I also read about the likes of Spearman et al in the FSG ownership thread and realise we are such a well oiled machine that if there mental issues these would have been addressed.

If Minamino had cost £35m I think a lot of people would feel happier. It would have satisfied that night transfer’ itch.

I think we will get at least one or two in and for certain the likes of Wilson will go late on when teams are desperate. But yeah. Lots of reason for optimism.

I reckon we'll go again but even though our mentality is great there must be some sort of drop-off after getting a 30 year monkey off a city's back. I reckon we'll come second.

But I can see us winning the champion's league if crowds are back for the knockout stages

My predictions are that we'll find a new scapegoat for some poor performances, Firmino will score at home, Salah will be dropped at some point this season, Origi will continue to cult hero-like and VVD will still sport the same hairstyle (probably until the end of time).
