Presumably Adrian will start in goal as he seems to be out cup keeper. Van den Berg is the obvious choice at CB, the question is whether we play someone experienced alongside him (probably Gomez if he is back fit) or go with another youngster. That just leaves 1 midfield spot and 2 forward spots to be sorted out. If Brewster is close to leaving I doubt that he will be involved, it makes sense to give Jota some game time and probably Origi as he will (likely) be involved much of the season, we want to develop Elliott so he will get surely get some minutes although it may be from the bench, it feels like Wilson would have to be forced into the side if we want to put him in the shop window. With a couple of players unavailable with injuries it might make sense to give Grujic the other slot in midfield though.
As part of an article I read earlier, it suggested Koumetio is considered 5th choice CB behind our first team players.
If we are all only happy when we are really winning in the end, when your race finishes, what life would that be?

Interesting, could be a Koumetio and Van den Berg partnership, but if only one play it'll be interesting to see which one...
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

Klopp mentioned him pre-match didn't he. Talked about the Gomez and Matip knocks...and he went "and it's the same for Billy". I was like "who the ****'s Billy?'. Forgot about him.
Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

Sounds like he's fitting in with the other CBs then

I wouldn't play Thiago in this one to be honest. Give him the week to get settled/move into Liverpool etc. I can't see much value in him playing with the reserves to be honest, he's already proven he's more than ready.

Think Klopp will still play him though. If he does I think he'll get even more of the ball than the other night!

Let the first team staff and players have a full week to prepare for the Arsenal league game.

Round 4 of this scheduled for Tuesday/Wednesday NEXT WEEK and we’re already playing Arsenal on the Monday night!
crazy rd4 next week, yep give it to kids & save the seniors for later in the season, or even later rounds of this cup (qtr's on)

Yep, after his longer than planned run out its best to rest him for Monday. New team:

                Adrian
                Neco VdB Koumetia Tsimikas
                Milner Minamino Keita
                Elliott Origi Jota
                One tit for another.

                  Carabao Cup

How are these clubs at lower level doing on COVID testing? A lot of these players would be part timers.
                  Are we winning?

I doubt any of their players will be working in abattoirs and delivering amazon packages throughout the week mate.
                    Hello mert.

No Fredo, this is the league cup. The top 4 divisions are all full time professionals.

Testing is optional for those clubs due to the cost.
