Thanks.
It’s a risk playing in this competition then and I hope we went down the Spurs route and paid for Lincoln’s testing and are reassured there is minimal to no risk.
I find it crazy we’re playing this competition amidst the fact testing is not mandatory in the EFL.Are we winning?

I was wondering yesterday whether we separate the youth teams and the senior squad - in case a bunch of first team players get covid and we can at least turn to the youths to put a team out? Might even be worth splitting the first team in two and have them train separately.
Would be interesting to hear all the contingency planning.

I dunno but I’m sure I read somewhere of the possibility of playing him there. Caught remember if it was someone on here suggesting he may have filled in in Germany? But I’ve got no idea other than his height & defensive nature might suit the role.Originally posted by Exiled_red View PostCan he play thete?Me, I’m either planning a holiday or I’m on one.

I think given who we seemingly have available (resting first teamers) and not risking anyone who might be close to leaving I'd go with:
Adrian
Williams
Van den Berg
Koumentio
Tsimikas
Milner (c)
Grujic
Jones
Jota
Minamino
OrigiThe only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

Is he seriously being linked with a move somewhere, I had put most of what I had seen down as just paper talk.Originally posted by Pepe79 View PostThat could well rule Origi out.The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

It’s paper talk for all of the possible departures until they actually go somewhere, but Joyce said it’s likely he Origi leaves after Jota was signed.Originally posted by Exiled_red View PostIs he seriously being linked with a move somewhere, I had put most of what I had seen down as just paper talk..

I think people can/will play if they aren't the subject of active negotiations, it seems like Brewster could be in that position but I don't think that's the case for Origi.Originally posted by Pepe79 View PostIt’s paper talk for all of the possible departures until they actually go somewhere, but Joyce said it’s likely he Origi leaves after Jota was signed. The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

Who knows? Be interesting to see if he or Grujic feature, for that reason.Originally posted by Exiled_red View PostI think people can/will play if they aren't the subject of active negotiations, it seems like Brewster could be in that position but I don't think that's the case for Origi..

You get 100k for winning it (as well as gate, erm, TV money). Its absolutely tinpot.Originally posted by Shaggy View PostKlopp not bothering with the pre match presser today, he's sending Pep. Man doesn't give a flying **** about the Milk Cup, and I'm with him all the way
That said, might be worth viewing as a preseason game for those not in contention for Arsenal.
