I can’t see us doing any major business in January.

Not with the return of fans looking as far away as ever.

Ali save vs Milik, no serious injuries, Dembele miss at 3 nil in the Nou Camp......prob loads more but it seems like luck has gone against us this year. I still think we win the league btw

I know what you’re saying, and tbf even then we had everyone out that semi & battered them at camp nou.

          BUT

I was talking about the season before that.

Title is gone. We have Gomez who is awful in the air and vastly overrated, Matip injury prone and Fabinho a utility centre back. It's obvious. It's gone.
              Are we winning?

                What, seriously?

                Edit: Wow, the Bale effect.

3-0 up in the 82nd minute.

Bale came on in the 75th minute.
                  Modifying post.

I’m not saying we’re doomed and the fact that no one else in the league look perfect must count in our favour.
Two huge setbacks the last few weeks. A humiliation against Villa and losing the leagues best defender.

Mentality monsters required now and every man up front having his best shooting boots on. Might need to be outscoring teams ala 2014.

Oh, the wee prick is having a dig at me. Which is odd as i haven't posted in this thread yet. But he's an odd fella at the best of times.

Keep hearing this is like the Laporte situation with City last season but it’s nothing like it imo. Firstly Van Dijk is top 3 players in the world. He’s up there with Messi and Ronaldo. Secondly, it was assault. Laporte’s injury came about innocuously which we would have all accepted in better spirit. Even a 50/50 challenge. This was just pure recklessness with complete disregard for a fellow professional.

Villa the only team left with a 100% record

Our next 5 league matches are Sheffield Utd, West Ham, Man City, Leicester and Brighton.

If we come out of that lot with 11 points then I think we're doing just fine. 13 points and we're doing very well. 15 points and we're front runners for the league.
