I think we'll go strong, regular back 5 maybe we'll rest Robertson and play Milner but I don't see either of the Williams starting, I could see Neco coming on for TAA at HT or after an hour.
I think that we will go with a second string forward line with Minamino and Jota, Shaq could play there or in midfield. I think Jones will start in midfield, the question is with who as Shaq or Milner could play there or elsewhere in the side. The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

Agree on that back 5 Kev. I'd have Fabinho to come on at halftime for Henderson to share their minutes.
I like the look of that team- it’s so awesome that we can rest so many of our superstars and still put out a very strong team!I don't tip

I'd be tempted to keep Robertson at left back and rest Henderson (move Gini to the base and have Milner alongside Jones).Originally posted by Pablo View PostI actually do want to win this one and get off to a flier in the group. I'd go relatively strong:

yeah, no way we'll rest as many as suggested here, especially with the subs allowed. Totally expect Fabs to start, etc.

Get the points on the table at this stage. Rotation can come in the 5th & 6th group games if we've qualified by that stage.
As Bob mentioned the 5 subs makes it easier to put out a strong starting line up and then make changes if in front

yeah that's a good point. Start strong get the win done and then make the changes by using the 5 subs makes sense. These are bang average, should be beating them comfortably.

Totally stats driven - were the first to hire Gronnemark and are big on set pieces. They played open vs Atalanta and got thumped. If they do the same vs us we will hammer them also
Start fast - get ahead and rotate then. 5 subs gives a lot of flexibility
