Aye. I think Origi will go in the summer. I actually think in the right team, and played through the middle, he could notch 15 goals a season. Big, strong, quick and quite a good finisher.

Minamino looks like he entered a raffle and won, the top prize being a contract at Liverpool.Originally posted by Shaggy View PostMinamino seems to take one step forward and three back. Very disappointing tonight.
An absolutely **** performance but it'll do. Hope we go back to 4-3-3 on Saturday and Thiago and Keita are back. That'll freshen things up big time.
It was a poor overall last night, but the games are coming so thick and fast it's just a case of get through, get the result and move on.
There are a few players in the fringes that have moments and have showed they can offer something and you can see why they are here,
Minamino tho, i really want to like him and really want him to produce/perform but in what around 25 performances and he's been here 12 months and i can't remember anything of note from him - as much as some people will have a go at say Origi, Keita, Shaqiri, for they have all had moments, peformances etc that justify them being here (to a degree)
I just don't get it yet with him
he doesnt seem particularly quick, he's isn't strong, he has a poor touch - he just looks way out of his depth to me. I'd love him to kick on and be a good option to use but i just think he's crapi own everton fans on the internet....that's what i do

Completely get that and he does look lost, mostly, and out of his depth - but he's shown flashes of quality, and he was great against us for Salzburg. Klopp called him "a machine" the other day, and I'm convinced he's a lot better than he's shown so far.Originally posted by PTP View PostMinamino looks like he entered a raffle and won, the top prize being a contract at Liverpool.

I think Minamino's had it quite rough to be honest. He arrived in January to a new country, not speaking much, if any, of the language. No pre-season with us, and having to learn how we play. Then we're hit with lockdown, and all the restriction stuff that's entailed. Then the way football's continued, I feel sorry for him. He's just not had the stability to settle down and thrive.

But he's 25, he's been here 12 months, he's made around 25 appearances,
at some point soon, it's time to settle and step up or move on.
It's ruthless, it's sink or swim - but that's what it's like at the top.
I am not writing him off just yet, but i'm not convinced he'll be here next seasoni own everton fans on the internet....that's what i do

He arrived in January, so closer to 9 months. Arguably effectively 6 months with the lockdown. But yeah he needs to take opportunities like last night when he gets them.Originally posted by PTP View Postyeah i agree to some level

He has never had more than three quarters of a game with 2 of the other front 3; when he plays its with the 2nd string & when that includes Divi that's even more of a disadvantage.
i get what people are saying & TBH Jota has leapfrogged him in the pecking order; but if he ever gets a decent run i think you would see a much better player
