I though we were much the better side for the first 30mins or so, and should have been a couple up. Their goal had a couple of mistakes on our part as well as good play from them, they came back into the game and should (undeservedly) be in front.

Was just thinking this! Trent should have faked the shot and played a gentle ball across the face of goal for a Jota Tap in! That last chance was a bit too much faffing about...control & shoot on sight!

Good half that in atrocious conditions.

Great game this. At times we’ve been superb. Defensively Sadio and Gini made successive mistakes but on the whole we’re playing well.

Ffs City have been poor. Everything good coming from Mane and Robbo side. Jota and Bobby have really struggled to get into game. Both working hard but not quite sure balance is there. So many breaks and wasted final balls from us!

We were great first 15 or 20. City have been bang average can't believe we are level.

Particularly on the break, we have had a couple of chances that two seasons ago we were putting away for fun. Now we're either playing the pass too late or taking too many touches and not getting the shot away.

Gini looks on it today, surging through midfield with power and skill - it's amazing he doesn't show this kind of form more often. Baffling.
