As a young lad i remember clapping him as he ran to the goal at the Kop end, such a great keeper and a true Gent.

too many gutless players, no beef or desire. pussies everywhere... sack them all.

With great sadness, we write to let you know that ray clemence passed away peacefully today, surrounded by his loving family.

After fighting so hard, for such a long time, he’s now at peace and in no more pain.

The family would like to say a huge thank you, for all the love and support that he’s received over the years. He was loved so much by us all and he will never be forgotten

Thinking back to last month when Clive Tyldesley hinted he wasn't well - small mercies but it was such a nice thing to do, getting people to rally around him so it was clear he knew what he meant to people in his last days.

          RIP Ray.
          Hello mert.

            Ray Clemence RIP

Sad news, he was the #1 keeper in the best LFC team I ever saw as a kid, a superb goalie and weirdly never wore gloves. Madness... but it worked. Remember being gutted when he went to Spurs but he used to get a helluva reception coming back to Anfield. RIP Ray, thoughts with his friends and family

R.I.P. Ray. Thoughts with the family
The only gracious way to accept an insult is to ignore it; if you can't ignore it, top it; if you can't top it, laugh at it; if you can't laugh at it, it's probably deserved.

He predates my time watching Liverpool. My first Liverpool game I watched on TV, which I remember vividly, was the 1982 League cup final when we played and beat Spurs in 1982.

                          RIP Ray.
                          Are we winning?
