I’m not sure what people are expecting - we are at the bare bones here. A bunch of lads who have never played together - some not good enough (Neco and Nat), others who are running on fumes (Robbo, Gini, Bobby and Milner) and others recovering from injuries (Fab, Mo). We have had zero recovery time since midweek so we are lucky to have 11 lads on the pitch.

Seems just had one of those games, He has looked pretty terrible so far since joining us. Prem is a tough ask for some players.

Extremely poor and uneven, even for a patched side if I'm honest. Started well, which is the most annoying part and we've got lucky with that pen.

Yeah, that wasn't good enough. Fitness etc acknowledged, but that side has two players who aren't regular first team players. Particularly the midfield must do much better.

Unless your natural game fits our system I don't really think it works. Don't think there's much room for doing a whole load of stuff outside the role you're given these days. I can't see us ever buying a Pogba or a Balotelli under Klopp.

We’ve ridden our luck at times but so they did. We’ll be ok now I expect. A few adjustments from Klopp second half and we’ll win this. Brighton has a mistake or two in them. I think we’re not winning enough second balls as our press hasn’t been great, but to to be expected for a changed team.

Williams in his defence has done ok after his mistake.

You have to fit the system and learn it. The frustrating thing is that Monamino should be a perfect fit. Just looks short of confidence. And a bit lost.

Dire first half and we lost all our fizz after their first attack. Makeshift team or not, we should be playing better football and at a much higher pace than this... Brighton are bang average and we could have been two up in the first ten minutes...

Hendo will play last 30 or 20 mins. Can’t see him starting second half straight away. Same for Mane. We haven’t been at our best but it’s not been our worst perf either.
