HT **** performance, Fulham the better side for much of it, probably deserve the lead but lucky with the way the goal came IMO. Ref got the pen VAR call right but it's shocking that VAR took so long, also the ref has been really inconsistent and some other poor decisions

Well, that was genuinely awful.

As a team we have been so slow, second to everything and been given the runaround by Fulham!

Up until about the 40th minute our only form of play was launch it!

The 2nd half has to improve! Injury excuses won't cut it today, this is a big opportunity with everyone else faltering.

That was really really bad. The middle three aren't working, not sure why. Hendo dropping back to quarter back isn't helping, and Gini's effort level looks very questionable. Not helped by trent, and robbo to a degree, struggling to overlap.

Not just in this game but we are pretty poor at putting teams under pressure when they've got the ball. We often surround the man in possession but he finds it far to easy to make progress or lay the ball off to a team mate in space. Conversely when we're in possession we've got to fight tooth and nail to make progress.

For me, it was a nailed on pen. I haven't seen every angle, but looked to me like fab got the strikers leg around the knee, pushing his foot into the ball and out of play.

The front 3 as a trio are spent, old news, they simply don't play together. All 3 are individuals capable of moments.

It definitely wasn’t a pen. He ‘just’ got the ball.

When VAR is desperately looking at it and can’t be conclusive and then the ref looks at it and still can’t give it.

Souness thinks it’s a pen. But you can clearly see he gets the ball?
