Could well be a cagey game. Worry is that, if each team were to create only a single chance, they look more likely to take it at the moment.

All the top teams or usual suspects to win the leagues around the top leagues are bolloxed. Currently out of Liverpool, City, Juve, Munich, Barca, Madrid, PSG... none of them are top of the league. Schedule has killed teams.

Big big pity that Jota is out injured now too. Origi and Mini just not likely to come on and change a game if we require.

I wonder will we bring Elliot back in Jan
If Jota was available it would have made sense to give Mane a bit of a break for some of the games around this time, but obviously that won't happen.

Elliott is probably best getting games on loan rather than coming back for the odd 20 mins here and there.

Look at the game vs Fulham. They had an entire week to prepare where as we had to travel and play in Denmark. Even accounting for freshness, the ability to spend a week in training tailoring your tactics for one game is a huge bonus.

We would have had maybe one or two sessions at most, then the travel to London.

It is impossible to underestimate how much of an impact the current schedule is having.

True but of those you named, we are in second place, only behind on goal difference. Real madrid are level on points and only behind on goal difference. Bayern are one point off of first place, PSG are one point off of first place.

Juve are 4 off the top of their league and City are 5 off the tops. Barca are the only one doing really badly at 9 points off the top spot already.

The early schedule has taken a toll on the bigger teams due to having the extra european games on top of the domestic competions and internationals, I suspect we will see more of the named teams on top of their respective leagues in a few months time but I have to say I would love to see a few of the not so fancied names still be on top of their leagues come spring (Not including the EPL in that comment as I want us on top then )
I don't hate people. I just feel better when they aren't around.

Whatever the outcome tonight, I’d love to see someone ‘do a Kane’ on Kane and see how he likes it. Commentators will be ‘oooh that’s a bad foul on Kane’... bias ****wits.

                              Salah to do it.

"Welcome to a special edition of Match of the Day. We've decided not to show any football tonight, but to spend 90 minutes discussing the criminal assault from Mohamad Salah tonight".

Personally, I'd rather players just cut that **** out of the game entirely, regardless of who they play for.
                                Oh I don't know.
