This should be routine, but as our poor form continues, the pressure increases.

Still, we should win. A quick glance at the last 6 games at home for us has netted 14 points, with Burnley languishing in the bottom 4 of the form guide (away from home over the same amount of games), accumulating just 5 points.

    1-1 it is then.

Can't remember the last time I've seen us so broken as a team on the pitch, there's little to no passion out there at the moment
      TAA---Matip---Philips---Robbo

      Mane-----Thiago-----Shaq

I won't be watching unfortunately. Covid amongst other health scares and things are taking a toll on my mental health and even when Liverpool win its a short lived lift.
Easier to not care at all and do something that I know I'll enjoy.

That probably makes me sound like a glory hunter but **** it, I feel like I'm a bit over footy at the moment.

It doesn't make you sound like that at all. Survival comes first, I've had a very ****ty 2020 as a working musician as well, and I've probably seen us play like twice since Atletico. It will be over though!

I think you should never feel bad about talking mental health and stuff like that

Sorry to hear that Rafa, hope things turn a corner for you soon. I think at more points this season than previous seasons - and for a host of different reasons - we've all thought about turning the TV off and finding something less stressful to do. Nowadays I tend to rant all the way through the match thread... usually getting bollocked by some smart arse on here, but it's always in good nature. Don't lose sight of that bit... it's only a game and health and life, your mates and family are always much more important.

Fingers crossed we put in a performance tonight and you can relax while watching the highlights. We need to support each other as well as the reds... none of us are bulletproof. Don't feel pressured to do anything, do what makes you happy... or at least happier...

When I feel a bit down at times, I just remember Sky's 'Fat Sam in the chippy in his tracky pants' clip and everything's immediately a little better...

100% on this. Never ever think that you should not talk about what is going on in your head.

It is not weak, selfish, boring or anything else negative to want to talk when something is bearing down on your mental wellbeing. If anything it is a sign of great inner strength to talk and imho it is a great show of respect towards whomever you talk to as you are showing you trust them to listen to what is going on in your world/head.
I don't hate people. I just feel better when they aren't around.

It's the rule they used when Kane got a penalty a few years back as the ball deflected off Lovren when he tried to play it when Kane was offside.

It's an absolute nonsense of a rule.

Mate do whatever it takes to make you feel better.

I've been a season ticket holder since I was 9 (44 now) and I am struggling to get the enthusiasm due to the state of the world we live in too.

Your health comes first and if we are playing **** and effecting that then it's time to take a break!

And actually, well done for mentioning it because I think you being so open will help those others of us struggling with this conflict.

As JK said almost a year ago, football is one of the most important of the unimportant things. Health and your family are the most important and of the important issues. [It was me who said that last sentence!]

Take it easy man. It’s a tough time - don’t play it down.

I’m feeling slightly disengaged with football. I can’t really get involved with this season. I appreciate also that this is times exactly when we have been poor and I was loving it when we beat Spurs. But I’m ok with that.

Football was a great distraction and maybe it’s the thought of not being champs again that is a bit much to take after all those years of waiting. I dunno. But...! Mental Health is important and we all have to do what we’ve got to do to preserve it. Especially just now.

And **** what everyone else thinks (as in the fact you worry it may make you sound like a glory hunter). No point worrying about what a faceless group of idiots think.

                      Take care man

Robbo on the bench then. He has looked a tad jaded last few games tbf.
