He looks slow and laboured at times but he did make some vital interventions in the box. Initially I thought he conceded a pen vs. Son but it was a good headed challenge - he's a lump of a player and his physique is a useful asset, but the jury is very much out on whether his asset(s) will outweigh the negatives if he's called upon for any length of time.

we were much better with gini at 6, that is for sureOriginally posted by Shaggy View PostInteresting comments from Klopp on Thiago playing further forward with Gini in the 6, which worked well tonight. Should stick with it for now.

He was absolutely brilliant wasn't he. Shielding, holding it, playing sharp passes through little gaps...he's absolutely made for these big games.Originally posted by S-RED View Postwe were much better with gini at 6, that is for sureThanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’

There was so much space bizarrely, particularly for Bobby. As was the case against United on Sun.Originally posted by Shaggy View PostInteresting comments from Klopp on Thiago playing further forward with Gini in the 6, which worked well tonight. Should stick with it for now.

Wait to see what happens against the nextl bus parkers, but hopefully this has given us the confidence we need to deal with it.

Spurs as a big bus Parker’s as you get - back 5, Hojberg kicking anything that moves, nDombele deep and Bergwjin as an extra full back......the big thing was we scored first which made them come out moreOriginally posted by BG1973 View PostThere was so much space bizarrely, particularly for Bobby. Spurs didn’t come all out blazing and had a very compact and defensive formation though they did play a bit in that first half. I don’t think it matters whether teams bus park if we play with that intensity and quality. It’d be a lucky team to defend for large periods when we’re at our relentless best. Are we winning?

That's bollocks...... They played 5 at the back......Originally posted by banditos View PostMichael Owen made an astute comment
about how Mo and Sadio started wider than they had been of late, which gave Bobby more space to work his magic.
We scored the first at a brilliant time. And well deserved it too because we finished the first half really well.

Yeah weirdly lose set his wing backs up 5-10 yds to high & they couldn't cope with robbo/mane & TAA/Salah were constantly caught in half space marking neitherOriginally posted by frank the tank View PostThat's bollocks...... They played 5 at the back......

They are but for some reason there was more space in that game than previously.. Bobby seemed to have more time and options. And we got in to better positions, more often, before and after the opener.Originally posted by Irishnev View PostSpurs as a big bus Parker’s as you get - back 5, Hojberg kicking anything that moves, nDombele deep and Bergwjin as an extra full back......the big thing was we scored first which made them come out more

If you could channel your inner Fredo keep slating the selection of Milner as well then that would be good too!!!
